What is Gurupurnima?
The night of the Full Moon (this year July 30) is the night that people from all
over the world celebrate to have met and recognized their Spiritual
Guide/Master/Guru/Teacher.
Ultimately this implies the celebration of the call of the heart to Wake Up.
When you have recognized your Master truly, this implies intrinsically that a
desire from deep within your heart is emerging to see all as it is….. and to be
freed of false notions: a longing to see ones True Nature and therein in all
sentient beings at once.
The Guru-disciple relation is a profound relation, and far beyond any
concept.
It is an ever lasting marriage in Totality, rooted in unconditional love…

At Gurupurnima, we re-new this sacred marriage; we make it stronger in the
widest sense…. by receiving a ‘Guru thread’.
This is a thread that the Master puts around your wrist. This thread is not
